Thadeus Trevelyan was born in Starkhaven after one of the family members eloped with a Dalish Mage. She had intended to stay with the mage, but he was killed by rogue templars and she had nowhere to go. After much arguing and petty name calling Thadeus was allowed in the Trevelyan home in Ostwick, but no one was to ever reveal his father was an elf. Fate had other plans however, and at age 15 Thadeus confided in a friend who turned on him and spread the truth of his origin. After that, with all the attacks and intolerance of his existence, Thadeus learned to sleep with one eye open and to never trust 'Shems'. He turned to thievery in order to survive, taking advantage of his natural climbing skills to escape capture. Sadly, a noble Thadeus planned to steal from set him up and framed him for killing one of the nobles rivals. Thadeus spent days trying to escape, but to no avail. The Trevelyans had abandoned him, and he had abandoned them. That is, until THEY missed HIM. Thadeus' mother cleared her son's name and Thadeus was freed, but he didn't trust the sudden kindness. Thadeus was sent to The Conclave in an attempt by his family to prove they valued him and trusted him to represent them.

Here we go. My OC Inquisitor. Not sure what to say. Well, other than explain Varric's nickname for Thadeus: he chose 'Jack' because Thadeus tends to act like a typical hero from stories when faced with people in need.
